My research centers on how cancer cells change state, interact with their microenvironment, and acquire aggressive or metastatic phenotypes, together with the computational methods needed to resolve these processes from high-dimensional molecular data.

Cancer ecosystems and metastasis

I am particularly interested in metastatic progression, organ-specific tumour biology, and the interactions between malignant cells and the tissues they colonize.

From October 2026, I will begin doctoral research at ULB / Institut Jules Bordet, focused on cancer ecosystems and metastatic progression.

Tumour heterogeneity and cell-state plasticity

My work explores malignant state transitions, transcriptional plasticity, cellular heterogeneity, and molecular phenotypes associated with treatment response.

Single-cell and spatial multi-omics

I use single-cell transcriptomics and integrative multi-omics to resolve heterogeneous cellular states and molecular programs, with spatial molecular data becoming an increasing focus.

Computational methodology

I develop transparent and reproducible approaches for statistical genomics, quality control, batch-effect modelling, and high-dimensional data analysis using R, Python, and Nextflow.
